I am an ST5 Dual Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Trainee and currently the Chief Registrar for the Royal Liverpool University Hospital for 2022-23.

This is a flagship one year leadership programme enrolled across the country ran by the Royal College of Physicians - https://www.rcplondon.ac.uk/projects/chief-registrar-programme  

My roles for this year are:

1) Provide a conduit between our junior doctor workforce and senior/executive management, through reviving junior doctor representation and voice post pandemic

2) Support and empower junior doctors and respective groups through engagement, support and quality improvement.

This year, including the upcoming move to the new hospital provides a fresh start and great opportunity for us as junior doctors to showcase our voice, abilities and collective talent and effort.
