ODP Top up Degree

The trust is supporting several staff to complete a BSc (Hons) Clinical and Professional Perioperative Practice through completing CPD Modules.  This initiative is part of the trust’s vision to support staff to develop and augment their skills and knowledge base. We have collaborated with Edge Hill University on this project. 

Each Cohort will be supported by the PEF advocate during the programme to facilitate registration of each module undertaken and submission of assignments. The cohort has regular meetings with their PEF advocate to offer pastoral support and guidance and trouble shoot any concerns that way arise.

Academic requirements and Process  

• Diploma in Clinical and Professional Perioperative Practice
• Request needs to be recorded on your department Training needs Analysis is submitted by the practice education n team
• Interview process for candidates who meet the academic requirement 
• If successful, the pathway Coordinator at EHU will discuss your modules options and create a pathway of modules to complete to achieve the required 120 credits
